In-Home and Community Access Onboarding Timeline

Below is an example of the process you and your intake officer will work together on to start your support services with Prydes Support.

Keep in mind that the 6-week onboard is indicative only. It may be shorter than 6 weeks or longer depending on the complexity of your supports.

  • We take the time to discover how we can best support you.

  • We'll build you a team of support workers who are best suited to your needs and assist you in achieving your goals.

  • You will have all of your paperwork signed and the opportunity to meet your team.

Supported Independent Living (SIL) Onboarding Timeline

Embarking on your journey with Prydes Support is a collaborative effort. You and your intake officer will join forces, walking through each step to initiate your support services. For Supported Independent Living (SIL), the onboarding duration can range from 6 weeks or more, contingent upon the intricacies and specific needs you present.

  • In this initial phase, we focus on understanding your unique requirements, aspirations, and circumstances. This foundational step is crucial as it shapes the subsequent stages, ensuring that the solutions we craft align perfectly with your needs.

  • With insights from the discovery phase, we collaboratively construct a robust and individualised SIL plan. This encompasses details about the services, schedules, and various support measures tailored to ensure you thrive in your new living situation.

  • Although often perceived as tedious, paperwork is vital for clarity and compliance. During this stage, we'll ensure all necessary documents, agreements, and consents are in place, safeguarding your interests and setting clear expectations.

  • A house is more than just bricks and mortar; it's a haven. Recognising this, we invest significant effort into sourcing accommodation that not only meets your practical needs but also feels like home. We factor in aspects like location, accessibility, and community ties to ensure you're well-placed.

  • Once the accommodation is secured, the next step is making it truly yours. This involves setting up the living space to be functional, comfortable, and reflective of your personal preferences.
